Re: Firefox 29
You can tweak it to look better.
This may come in handy if you want some of your old bits and bobs back.

Re: Firefox 29
First thing I did was to put the title bar back and then go and get the latest 'status4evar' extension.

Re: Firefox 29
I ditched Firefox for Chrome recently. I found FF had become slow at page rendering an was hogging memory. Chrome is running much faster and isn't dragging down my whole system performance.

I have tried the addons to make it look like the last version but they don't fully do the trick. I am on a mobile connection this weekend so will stick with firefox and then change to chrome when i return

You could always go back to v28 or swap over to Waterfox.

If I go back to the older version would there not be a security issue and would it not keep trying to update

Re: Firefox 29
I was using 29 as a beta version so had quite a while to kick it about and once I tweaked it found it to be better than I expected. I am currently running V30 and it again needs some work arounds to make it feel comfortable. I understand V31 could reverse some of the more irritating aspects of V29 but nothing is finalised as yet.
As far as I know Sirius you can go back a version without a problem. I have done so in the past and not been pushed into updating to the current version, but, I do keep both versions on my computer so that I can compare them so maybe this stops Mozilla nagging me.
