You have had the answer to that by inference. Maybe yes, maybe no. It depends on your current situation and whether the new situation includes some offer that requires a new minimum period.

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
Got a surprise update tonight, yet on my virgin media it states "between January 2015 and June 2015" so quite odd.

Lets hope it happens elsewhere as mine as gone from Sept14-Dec 14 to Sept14 - Feb 15. This happened to me on the last doubling and guess what I got it on the last day of the delayed period. Deja vu comes to mind.
Mind you recently got a letter saying Virgin Media services have now arrived in my area. I have only had it for three years!!!
Then there are still some broadband web sites say its not available at all in my area.
Me thinks everything is just dross and pot luck is the only true guide.

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
Shot up from 20 to 50 MB today - wasn't expecting this increase for ages.
Only found out when I got an email from Virgin sending me a breakdown of my bill, which seemed a bit odd, until I read the rest of the small print (and I mean small print) and logged into My Virgin Media to see it had happened.

I've received the same e-mail, I'm at work at present so can't confirm if mines gone up, but VM says it has. Will check later to confirm it.

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
So has Virgin just rolled this out for chunks of the country or is this a mistake?

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
It's for those who pre-registered their interest for the upgrades and already have compatible kit.

Thanks for clarifying, Ben.
A most unexpected surprise, and a nice one too
