LG has big mobile plans for Europe
"..in other words, it will resell actual network operators’ connectivity on a country-to-country basis, with the same unified billing system and back-end that supports Liberty’s fixed-line efforts. This “deep MVNO” network will begin in the U.K., the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria."

I'm not sure if this will alter the offering in the UK, all I can suggest is yjay perhaps there will be cheaper mobile rates between LG customers in different countries or reduced roaming costs?

As I stated on here several months ago, Virgin Mobile is moving from a thin MVNO model to a thick MVNO model. They obviously plan replicate this across Europe. I wonder what the brand over there will be?

I don't think there will be one brand across Europe for this, so:
Belgium - Telenet (Part-owned. Already an MVNO)
Netherlands - Ziggo (Being acquired. Already an MVNO)
Switzerland - UPC Cablecom (No existing mobile MVNO)
Austria - UPC (No existing mobile MVNO)

Re: LG has big mobile plans for Europe
You don't think they'll roll Ziggo into UPC Netherlands?

Re: LG has big mobile plans for Europe
This thread confused me, I think of Lucky Goldstar when I see LG.
