How do I change from a Superhub 1 to a Superhub 2?

Please could I get some advice on how I can go about upgrading from a Superhub 1 to a Superhub 2? I am fed up with the Superhub 1's poor wireless performance, don't have space for a separate router, and wish to remain on 30Mb, going to 50Mb in a few months. Is there a way I can get the Superhub 2 for free or even at a reasonable cost?
Many thanks for any replies.

Phone CS and complain bitterly about the WiFi performance, you might get one free, otherwise I think the cost is £20; SH2 is streets ahead of the SH1 although others on here won't agree with me!

If you're out of contract, call retentions and threaten to leave.

Virgin should offer the people on the higher internet packages a Superhub 2
Just need to pay for postage and sending back your Superhub 1

i agree. Everyone on 50mbits+ (which will be everyone by the end of this year as 30mbits is moving to 50) should have a shub2 so they can benefit from the increased wan speed (better wireless throughput).

Not counting my chickens etc. until in my hands, but I phoned up yesterday and upgraded early to 50mb, plus asked for and have got a Shub2 coming friday free of charge, as Shub 1 was awful for wifi, and reduced my monthly from £26.15 to £25 per month. However have entered into a new 12 month contract. Was previously out of contract.

Not too sure how good the wireless is, as for me wasn't an improvement, however that might be down to the cheap tablet I have. A generic cheapo one, unfortunatelly don't have anything else to try the wireless with.
