Would a fast VPN be able to get around the savage traffic shaping by VM or will they still use deep packet inspection to examine the traffic? Can they even do DPI on SSL transfers?
No newsgroup problems here, but like others I don't use Virgin's.
Had some stuff to get last night about 7.00pm and ended up downloading about 80 gig via supernews. I was not slowed down at all and was maxed out at 120 meg for the whole period.
