Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I suppose I have to trust the judgement of Jose. Mata hasn't started as much as the previous 2 seasons, and I can't slate the teams Jose has picked recently. Something has to give and I'll be sad to see Mata go. I can't remember a player we've kept after he's said he wants to leave, which I assume Mata has, so cashing in is the only alternative if you don't want to keep someone who's unhappy. I would have loved him to stay and fight for his place for the rest of the season, but if he doesn't want to do that then the only option is the one that seems to be happening.

l agree as l find it staggering that MU won't sell players to their rivals but Arsenal and Chelsea will have sold high class players to MU.

I know mate, but maybe they've set up some sort of deal where we get first dibs on Rooney. Jose obviously likes and wants him so that's always possible. But apart from that, it doesn't benefit us if we don't replace him. It leaves us short in that position as I posted earlier. It's all a bit Unless Jose has a masterplan we don't know about....

If it is that serious then he will miss the World Cup.

Aren't Chelsea chasing Mohamed Salah? Liverpools interest is there for everyone to see.
Theres talk Rooney is Real Madrid bound. Also note Rooney is after a new contract bumper.

The latest information is that Salah is flying into Merseyside tomorrow.

I know nothing about being after Salah. Pity we didn't buy him before he scored against us... Regarding Wayne, that's the only thing I can think of when it comes to dealing with United. I'd say Real would be after the likes of Aguero and Suarez come the summer.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
He's a decent player Salah. Real Madrid did find cash to offer Lewandowski silly money. I wouldn't put it past them making a crazy offer for Suarez, Falcao, Aguero....
Chelsea have probably bitten at the ridiculous fee, nothing more. It will balance the books for FFP. I think it was reported they were in a bit of a sticky situation, going forward that is.

But Rooney works very well alongside Ronnie.
