Sending Tivo output to other rooms

I've found a thread that tells me how to do this; at least I think I have

It involves using one of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/programmab...odulator-vh89w or these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Sc...uctDescription

At the moment I have a V+ box in the main bedroom with an RF output and I send the signal through the house via a Labgear system MRX 390. Every room in the house has a wall outlet. It is a a newish house and I had all the cabling installed along with Cat 5 connections in every room too. I have little magic mouse on top of the TVs and I can change the channels on the box upstairs. The MRX also delivers a free view signal and images from 3 CCTV cameras.

I have two questions please. If I replace the V+ box with a Tivo..

1)- Can I connect the Tivo to the TV with an HDMI lead and get HD whilst sending SD via the scart socket-modulator- RF link round the house? IE Will both outputs work simultaneously?

2)- The V+ remotes work fine via the system IE I can change channels on the box upstairs from the kitchen. Do the Tivo controls work on the same system?

Yes Tivo will output on HDMI and Scart simultaneously. The only issue is the DCHP problem when the box claims it cant connect to hdmi. The solution is to make sure when the tv connected by hdmi is turned off, it is on the tivo channel.

Yes the Tivo remote works fine over a infra red blaster. In fact many of the controls on the V+ remote will operate the Tivo so dont throw the remotes away.
