Of course it is Andy because as you know we are a reasoned peaceful lot generally.

Is this a competition? Are we supposed to re-arrange the words or something?

The BBC* have moved the following;
BBC One - 101 (In NI, Wales,, & Scotland ONLY)
BBC Two - 102 (In England ONLY)
and then that only for HD Subscribers/Entertainment Extra+ Subscribers
However Virgin do really need to implement a HD swap!

Why don't they drop all the HD channels into the unused 001 to 099 range of channel numbers.

Yup sky have done it in the midlands. VM will not follow suite until they start the HD switchover if they're going to do it that is.

Sorry, I am not fully understanding your post. Then again, I am struggling to understand blue666666's most recent post too.
I must be more drunk than I think I currently am.

I think it's what's happened on the Sky platform bb1hd and bbc2hd have swapped places with standard bbc1 and bbc2 channels in some regions.

I assume so, I was talking to an MP a bit back and he said that the channel does not use BBC equipment (it uses ITV's Millibank studios in Westminster) and that "all the equipment is still standard definition stuff".
We got onto the subject when I said that all the TV's in the various MP's offices* that I'd seen looked pretty old, to which he replied "you should see the ancient broadcast infrastructure"!
* Each MP's office has a monitor showing what's happening in the chamber. I'm not sure if this is a clean feed or BBC Parliament itself. Anybody??
If I remember I'll ask next time, or look out for any DOG/Filler programmes that BBC Parliament shows.
I guess neither ITV nor the BBC want to pay for the cost of an upgrade. It wouldn't surprise me if the infrastructure was the actual original equipment from when it was The Parliamentary Channel and run by United Artists (jointly funded by the nations cable companies)!

These aren't unused. They contain all the "hidden" interactive services & red button streams. Don't know if the forth digit on the boxes can be utilised (1000 upward).

Why can't they just bring back that awesome bit of software in the V+ box that allowed us to place the channels in the order we wanted them in?
That was brilliant.

I'm still wishing for a reminder function that doesn't record the programme lol. I'll be wishing for a eternity i think.
I do agree with you it would be great to place the channels in the order we want.
