Any suggestions on who should replace them as BT Sports need some big hitters instead of the idiots they currently have.

So many pundits out there. The guys on SKY will be pretty much untouchable. In terms of realistic targets I'd go with Lee Dixon from ITV, Gordon Strachan in between his Scotland commitments and a cheeky approach towards Alan Hansen when he quits the BBC next summer. 3 guys with knowledge, integrity, respected opinions and a little humour at times.

Maybe it's not an act. The guy has had an incredibly long run as a pundit on the BBC. Maybe a nice break, better salary and a lighter working schedule would cheer him up a bit.

I think they would make a big difference to the BT pundit team. As for Humphrey he is aweful imo.

Hansen is a lazy pundit, trotting out cliche after cliche and being paid a fortune to do so. The BBC lost Dixon because of that, and I'd put Dixon up there as possibly the best available right now. Strachan I like also.

That said, I didn't watch any of the after match analysis on BT, but I'm not sure there are many better live broadcasters than Jake Humphreys at the moment, imo. Were they hampered by not being in the studio?

I like Childs as well-the night the England match was called off due to rain I thought he was excellent. However, when I first read your post I thought you said that Humphreys is like a child, and I was going to reply that I agree, but I don't see a problem with that. A slightly hyper child, who likes football and was genuinely excited to be at Old Trafford yesterday, I find Sky too corporate at times. Football should make you sparkle a bit like when you were a kid.

The problem is not the presenters, but the so called experts. Savage having to eat humble pie over Chamakh on last night's MOTD was sweet, I have to say.

Personal opinion here but I have to disagree about Humphrey he's well out of his depth with Football , yesterdays post match analasys was a shocker however I will say he wasn't helped by Ginola and Hargreaves who are terrible. BT capturing champions league could be a bad thing if were stuck with these clowns.

In fairness I didn't see it but surely the analysis is for Ginola etc, not Humphreys. They're two different roles. What was so bad about it?
