Only due to the fact the 4.4 is not support yet hopefully it won't be long, I'm hoping they only had 4.3 to work with and 4.4 wasn't available for testing etc.

Unless there is something you need in KitKat you could roll back to 4.3?

I guess. Just more faff. I was really looking forward to watching sky sports on my Nexus as soon as it came out though.

I guess my expectations were just too high.

You can only watch sky sports on tv anywhere on a laptop not a mobile device.

I know. I found this out last week, which sort of makes the whole app obselete for em anyway. Big shame.

Is a bit annoying that you can't watch sky premium channels on the app, but it's brilliant for controlling the TiVo box.

That's been the case since it launched for iOS, and says it all over the content for TV Anywhere e.g http://store.virginmedia.com/discove...app/watch.html

Take a peek at all these live channels you can watch right on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You just need to have them in your TV package and be able to connect to WiFi.

The lack of 3G streaming is astounding really, you'd think it would be a minimum requirement for an app called 'TV anywhere'

Streaming doesn't work on my phone - which makes it no better than TiVo Commander which we had 18 months ago. In fact TiVO Commander was a lot quicker.

Managed to get streaming to work on my sons tablet, but it streams very few channels (mainly the UKtv ones). It doesn't stream Sky channels like Sky Go does.

Very disappointing.

It streams up to 67 channels including BT Sport. Hardly 'very few'
