I have read that there are some devices that don't use VBR and the device buffers until it can start playing at full bitrate. Maybe your TV is one of those or just buffers fast?

There's nothing to stop you re-contracting again.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix

Well, to contradict you, I have just committed to Netflix for 6 months FOC, and the gent I spoke to said that anyone on a loyalty discount will not be eligible for this unless they agree to pay the same as others (which I suppose is reasonable)

He also confirmed the 12 month contract !

Difference of opinion here !!

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix

Just called up, 6 months free, no mention of a new contract. I'm on VIP 120 or whatever it's called this week.

Just waiting on the discount code coming through.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix

I already have Netflix account AND loyalty money off my bill so i guess i am stuck - also i have not got the update yet as i live in the last zone to get anything ever - will just keep everything as it is i think as i am happy with my contract.

Existing customers on Premier and VIP can get it by recontracting for 12 months

Those with a Customer Relations offer on top of VIP or Premier have to choose between keep their offer or getting the Netflix offer

Remember having a second TiVo adds a extra £11 thus it stumps up the bill quite a bit ocav.
