Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Excellent, here's hoping Herts gets done tonight/tomorrow morning so I can have a play around once I get back in from an appointment.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Anyone else's Netflix not running at Super HD straight away? Mine seems to stick with 480SD until it manages to buffer Super HD

That's how Netflix is designed to work.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Is everybody supposed to get the Netflix app even those with just Freeview channels?

It's designed that way so that you get the picture straight away; it should gradually ramp up to the highest bitrate for the title.
It's caled 'variable bit rate streaming' (or something like that).

It's always run at Super HD straight away on my LG TV, that's why I was asking, this seems to take a good minute or so to build up. It's pretty useless for shows like Breaking Bad where even the first few frames are meant to be visually stunning!
