Mark base on this week TiVo updates the next one will be on Tuesday (I have not seen anything confirmed).
Also base on SP info given on here - only 33 out of 61 areas have been done so far.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Would be pleased if it came Tuesday but as am working that day then Wednesday would be better for me as I have the day off and can have a proper play with the new menus and Netflix.

What would be even better if you could then push the content from the 1st Screen Device such as TiVo or a Smart TV to your 2nd Screen device such as your laptop/tablet for if you wanted to go on the move!

I was curious so I clicked the icon in the Netflix app and right enough it gives me the choice of either of my Tivo boxes and when I hit "play" on my phone it loads up the app on the TiVO box and whatever I have picked plays flawlessly. This is fantastic, means I can use my phone, instead of the remote, to search but watch it on the telly

That's brilliant!

Indeed it is. But what I will have to check over the weekend is what internet connection is being used to stream the content i.e. the non-traffic managed TiVO connection or my household broadband connection.
Best thing is that the App automatically opens up on the TiVo, even if I'm just watching live TV so no need to navigate to the TiVo's apps section.
I can see my LoveFilm subscription being cancelled this weekend.

It should play directly from search!

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Echo what a lot of folk are saying about the ability to search the Netflix app on a tablet (ipad in my case) then select to watch it on the TiVo. Much easier to search on the app than using the onscreen search on the TiVo.
I can see me using this nifty little feature a lot.
My only gripe is the UK Netflix content isn't fantastic compared to the US, it's not bad but it could be better IMHO.

It's all about rights. The UK version will improve over time. After all, it only launched in this country just over a year ago.

So if someone is in US Netflix on their ipad, I'm guessing it wouldn't work?

Haven't a clue - i suppose it might depend if programme is also on UK Netflix. Not something I've tried though

Can't see it, but is anybody able to test this out?
