Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
Hi has any one had problems with suggestions since update. I don't have any listed since update on Thursday. It worked great before just recording episodes of series that were missing, when the series was repeated.

It won't. There still aren't any 4KTV chipsets in mass-production, never mind three years ago when the current TiVo boxes were designed.

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
I personally can't see 4K being massive in the home , the difference between 1080 and 4K is reported to be negligible on sets less than 100 inch and how many homes in the UK will purchase sets anywhere near that size ?

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
Would somebody with the app mind timing how long it takes to launch?

Approx 30 seconds for me, although if my box has been in standby for a bit and I haven't used the netfix app for a while it takes a little longer

Yes. An updated app that supports profiles was deployed last week (it was mentioned in post #36), but there was a problem with it so they have reverted to the previous version for now.

Ok thanks. The screenshots provided by spiderplant suggest the ui is now similar to the ui on the new TiVo Roamio. With people claiming noticeable improvements in speed following the update I wondered how close it was to the very latest TiVo hardware, but the Netflix startup time on the Roamio is 8 seconds whilst the Premiere is 40 - which is much closer to what you report. So it seems perhaps our TiVo is now working smarter in some respects, but not necessarily faster. Which is still good.

That would be the best news ever, as long as Scotland is one of the areas.

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
My suggestions are now nothing I would ever watch since the update lol. Also is there going to be a more user friendly fast forward and skip to a certain place on a recording? Like on the normal V+ box as it is so much better than the TiVo system.

So does that mean the new, fancy transitions?
