From October 9th:
Only info I have seen is from NOW That's What I Call Music.[COLOR="Silver"]
|
I have had it confirmed by a VM contact that VM are able to "service new channels" and that "several new channels are in the pipeline".
NOW Music TV continue to erroneously inform people that this is not the case and I am afraid that this could have some detrimental affect on the VM TV business.
That's why I asked Oliver if he had a source that he could link me to where VM openly disputed the claims made by NOW Music TV

I can't understand why anyone would pay £5 per month to have a TiVo over a V+. I watch nearly everything live as I discuss it with my friends online at the time. I consider on demand TV to be something that seemed like a good idea in 2009 but has been overcome by changing requirements.

What is Media Boy on about???
New Rumour - means information is from an 'Rumour poster' and as not been confirmed so may not happen.
Virgin Insiders - means just that.
'Do Not Post' order - means an Virgin insider has given me some info on things that set to happen but has told me not to reveal it right now.

I suppose it's all down to what suits your needs most. Everyone has different tastes in terms of entertainment, and how they access it. From what your saying you clearly don't need TiVo so that £5 is better in your pocket.

Is it £5 more expensive though ?
All VM collections generally save you money according to many posters who've upgraded on here and the TIVO fee is included.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 5.
I pay £3 on my account for TiVo and this is per account not per box as they sold it that way for a while. I have 2 x TiVos

Exactly. I know some deaf people who can only watch live or recorded TV, because VOD doesn't have subtitles.

As you were told the last time you came into this thread making such derogatory remarks:
'If that is your view, this thread clearly does not meet your needs and it may be a good idea to neither read nor contribute to it'.
You graciously did for some time, what's changed? (or are you simply gratuitously trying to stir up trouble?)

Do you have a source to back this up statement from VM? (I want to show it to somebody).
|
I don't have a link but it was a reply to someone on the Virgin facebook page asking. Someone asked if it was true that they have no space, Virgin said no as they have plenty of great things on the horizon.
Someone posted it on here at the time, also you can call me Ollie aha

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 5.
I may be reading too much into this but my tivo box is saying that I can't access on demand due to essential works but I've just looked on the VM website and it says there are no issues in my area.. Slightly strange.
Oh, and one of the green lights has been flashing for the last 30 minutes.. Probably a glitch.

Just because I'm a lazy git, any news on whether PS will definitely be going into the XL package after the Rugby tournament, or go premium?
