			True Den and (bearing in mind the subject of the wasted food thread) it's a very good way to make use of excess vegetables, bogof offers etc., save a bit of money and give the family really healthy food at the same time. 
 Don't know about you but I have a big appetite and somehow soup always seems to fill me up more than I'd have thought possible.

 |  Yes l quite agree its staggering how much some people waste and we are one of those families who will make good use of any leftovers or spare veg to make good nourishing meals like soup and bubble and squeak which are delicious.
