Do you not think, so many years down the line, that this has not been investigated?
Do you not think that the MCCanns were not suspects?
Until the little girl is found, It's very possible they may still be, but where is the evidence?
If the police thought they were involved they have had ample time to bring a case against them, but they haven't.

Of course, and Portuguese police armed with theses facts and accompanying evidence charged them with faking the abduction.............
Oh.....they didn't did they?
That's strange, don't you think?

You was trying to say that anyone who thought the parents were involved were trolls, bullies and idiots so I posted that the police had their doubts too, to show this was not the case. Now you are moving the goalposts instead of admitting you made a mistake.
There is no evidence that someone kidnapped Maddie just like there is no evidence that the parents did something. So both theories hold the same weight, so no need to attack everyone who disagree's with your view, coz you are always right and no one should argue

Where did thenry's post about maddies hair/DNA in the care the parents hired after she went missing? Was clicking to quote it but it never appeared ;/
Lots of little things like this all add to the conspiracy theories surrounding the case.

If there is enough compelling evidence you don't need a body.
There have be several convictions that I know of, one i recall quite recently, where a body was not available.
I don't know all the evidence in the case. But I would expect after all this time that there was a lot of crime science evidence along with a whole host more. They have tracked the McCanns movements for the weeks prior, they would have known exactly what they were doing and when they did it.
I just dislike the armchair and internet judge and juries that are no more informed than the guy in the pub.

Re: How pathetic - Maddie Case
At the risk of being given infraction points, I will respond to the comments calling me sick.
I am not the only person who thinks the parents are involved. I am not a troll or a bully. Yes, there is no proof that they were involved. Similarly there is no proof they WEREN'T involved.
Not only that, I stand by what I said. I am sick of seeing them on TV every few weeks, why not carry on the search quietly without the need to keep renewing their 15 minutes of fame.

Ok, so who is the "They"?
There isn't any evidence against anybody, so on that basis are people saying that NOBODY is guilty. Absence of evidence is not necessarily proof of innocence.

There's no proof I wasn't involved in 9/11 or. 7/7, there's no proof that I'm not Jack the Ripper incarnate. Are the thought police coming for me?

Kate McCann is reported as having said "They've taken her".
From 2007.
Quote:
The first eyewitness account of the frantic moments after Madeleine McCann disappeared can be revealed today. Nanny Charlotte Pennington confirms that Kate McCann did scream: "They've taken her, they've taken her!"
The mother's precise words have become a pivotal issue in the case, with Portuguese police questioning why she would automatically assume Maddie had been abducted.
|
Quote:
Kate McCann spoke of the initial moment she went to check on Madeleine, only to discover she was gone.
'I was looking into Madeleine's bed and I couldn't make her out and I wondered if she was in our bed.
'She wasn't in our bed. That was the first time panic kicked in.
'It was at that point the curtains opened and I could see the windows were open... so I knew straight away that Madeleine had been taken.'
|
Why would open curtains and windows imply abduction? If I was abducting somebody I wouldn't open the curtains for passers by to be able see inside. Then again I wouldn't do it in a busy resort when other people would have been awake and walking about. Far too much risk of being caught.

indeed. if they were a pair of street sweepers from sheffield one wonders whether they would get the same airtime or, indeed, reflections on why people in such high status professions were having dinner down the road anyway with kids that young back at base

Nope, just pointing out how you change your mind from post to post.
What's it to be? Did the Portuguese police have "doubts" about the McCanns or did they believe them "guilty"? And if they believed them guilty, how could they as there is no evidence to implicate them.
All of the above is from your previous posts. Not random in the slightest.

If you had a consistent opinion, it would be easier. But you seem to be a bit wobbly on the subject.

I have been very consistent on this point.
If there was evidence to implicate the McCanns, why haven't they been charged?
You're offering nothing.
