No doubt the north west of england will be the last to get the update as per usual so i'll assume this potential launch tonight will not include me!

From what i got told all areas will be updated but my source thinks it will be the Telewest areas first then NTL will follow next week.
Don't take this as fact though.

Don't think it will be the Netflix/TiVo update.

Those in testing areas were informed by post to leave their TiVo boxes on to ensure the update came through. I think we will know well ahead of time regards the netflix rollout

Do you know what the major updates on TIVO are all about, or are they just updates to ensure the Netflix app will work?

Nope, no idea. I haven't been told whether the updates are functional, visual or anything else. To be honest I've more or less and copied and pasted the PMs I had. I know as much as you do at this point.
