I've found this site useful for seeing if a movie or TV program is on Netflix. You can set it to filter just by Netflix as it has most catch-up services covered: http://www.moreflicks.com/

If I recall correctly, Netflix only lets you see their whole selection when you join up as a member.

Nothing comes up when you type in 'Breaking Bad'!

True, but I want to wait until Tivo has Netflix before I commit to any deal / trial

That's brilliant, Hugh! It's also got all the series of Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Blue Bloods - all the stuff that we've missed on Sky Atlantic!

I'm lost for words and VERY pleased. When Netflix appears, I won't care two hoots about Sky Atlantic!! All the programmes I want to see are on Netflix!

Yoohoo!

I am ecstatic to find this. Netflix is definitely the way to go!! Wait until I tell my wife!

It's also got 'The Big C' on it - I've been waiting for Series 1 to be repeated, as I missed it first time around! Oh, joy.....someone let me down gently, I've never been on such a high!!!

Are you sure this isn't the US site? We are not getting this when it comes to the TIVO. Damn! I thought it was too good to be true!

Be careful, if it's Netflix, it may not be the UK one; a drop down list shows which Netflix region it is on. It also list other streaming services other than Netflix, though you can choose to omit those in the search.

No HBO shows are on Netflix and Mad Men is on the US Netflix. Blue Bloods is on Denmark Netflix.

Yes, passingbat, it was the US version. Might have known! Still, it does give us an indication of what is to come as they sign up more contracts.

Re: VM preparing to add Netflix option to online ordering

Just signed up for the free months trial to Netflix.(ready for when it comes to TiVo)
Got to say even their new releases are quite old(films). None of the latest 007 movies on there.
Some good tv series though.

Re: VM preparing to add Netflix option to online ordering

I really hope they make a decent app for Netflix on TiVo. The Spotify one is terrible! I've got a new Samsung smart TV with the Spotify app and it's light years ahead of TiVo's. Having said that Netflix is also available on my TV, so maybe doesn't matter to me too much, but I still want TiVo to be the main enterainment hub, so I don't need to use two remotes.

The most popular smart dns (almost the standard one) on various UK Netflix forums is http://www.unblock-us.com/

I imagine it's this one, or a slight variation of, that was released for the Tivo Premier as part of the other Tivo updates that went along with it, that we are also getting with our Tivo update.

Re: VM preparing to add Netflix option to online ordering

Why are people suggesting using a smart dns?? I've got the US Netflix on my WD Live TV, Xbox & PS3 without using one. All I've done is change the DNS setting in each and hey presto

With a smart DNS you can get every Netflix region, not just the US, with a very simple way to swap regions. Considering how cheap the monthly payment is, it's worth it for it's simplicity. You can also access other specific sites.
