At the moment I dont mind paying for HD as this is still a premium product, and therefore if you dont wish to have High Definition then the basic entry is standard definition. However and this is the issue I have with Skysports in particular is that their Standard Definition is lower than everyone else's standard definition. Therfore in my mind Skysports SD is not standard definition but lower than standard definition, in effect Skysports LSD (but I can see why they dont market that).

Joking aside, there should be a standard to standard definition which everyone complies to, I have feeling that someone will be able to proove that skysports broadcasts at the lowest possible acceptable which means technically they are correct but for a premium channel I would expect at least on par with other services Standard definition.

Probably slowly moving towards the old 425 line service quality a little bit at a time to save bandwidth and hoping we won't notice
