TCM +1 not set to launch on Tuesday on Virgin Media.

It look like Virgin Media are set to miss out on an other channel from Tuesday.

TCM2 will close at 4am on Monday night on Virgin Channel 417 - but take note the EPG on TCM2 is not right from Tuesday.

TCM +1 will launch on Astra (Sky) but not on Virgin Media on Tuesday.

Well done Virgin - so far this month (From Tuesday) we have loss FIVE Channels but no new channels.

Yeah given a choice whilst its not ideal to lose channels the +1 ones are manageable loses (albeit still a loss)

Invalid EPG data doesn't necessarily mean it's closing though surely? For the data that is available on Tuesday on TiVo a lot of the films are what is on TCM but an hour later too. I think it'll just be a straightforward rebrand unless you know something else from someone else?

Thanks for the info,however not particularly bothered about this channel.But not happy to the fact 5 channels lost!!! Total disgrace vm

It not an rebrand.

On the old Sky box I have seen the following:

TCM2 - No longer broadcasting from 4am on Monday.
TCM +1 - testing on Sky right now on an new broadcasting stream 24 hours.

And for Media Boy to say something like he has, thier must be something wrong. I have made a formal complaint to Liberty Global over the manner that VM treat there customers.

Virgin Media treat there customers with contempt, and l do not mince my words, yes l could move back to Sky, but l am paying hard earned money to VM, and the fact that they do not gives us channels that we are crying out for is a disgrace.

I am counting down the days to 17th August. VM are a shambles, and told Liberty Global that they will have to make a big shake up of VM to keep its customers. They do not communicate with customer.

They had a big meeting in London - l hope the big boss told what he expects, He will ose customers if there is no shake up.

I'm assuming that TCM will still be on VM?

and which channels are these Arthur if you mean SA sky will not stop charging over the top asking price and the other missing channels sky are with holding so how is that's VM fault they cant add what is getting withheld as for BT sport BT wont wholesale it that's why it not on VM yet as pointing out before BT will not wholesale to sky either so again how is that fault of VM unless bt change there mind and wholesale it not be on VM sky only got it because sky customers pay BT direct that can not work on VM

From Tuesday the following things will happen:

415. TCM SD Channel - will be onair.
416. TCM HD Channel - will be onair.
417. TCM2 - will closedown in the UK and Ireland.
