Speculation is before or around August 17, so that might be about right.

All Virgin Media Customers Attention!
I have just got off the phone with a member of the CEO Office @ Virgin Media Ltd.
She has just advised me that customers in contracts with TV XL or ESPN can leave their contract for their TV or All services in their bundle with 30 Days notice,
But you only have until the 31st August 2013 to cancel your services and the answer to the question on everyones lips is NO you will not be held to pay the remainder of your contract off!
She advised my to call retention by dialing 150 from Virgin Home Phone and going to the options for Leaving Virgin Media.
This tells me they have given up all hope of getting bt sports anytime soon,150 in the morning and a call to sky on the cards tomorrow.chad muppetman I think I'm starting to believe in better !!!!!

Maybe i'm being a tad naive here but do you think they could be bluffing? I mean, it's a possibility right?

Why does that discussion of facts lead you to believe such a thing?

personally watching Merseyside Derby on BT Sport means more than life and death to me. it's not my problem to deal with wars and famine, and the political unrest in Afghanistan, it doesn't affect my daily life in any way shape or form. so I don't care.

The more of your posts I read the more you sound like an ungrateful little child. You stated earlier you were educated, was that meant to be a joke?
You may not think its your problem, but the job nurses and that of our armed services do affect your life. Have up you never used the NHS?
And it's our armed services that you so flippantly state you do not care for that bravely both past and present give you the freedom you enjoy.
I think nurses and service men and woman deserve a lot more respect.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Surely the sports themselves (rugby and football in patricular )are not going to be too chuff that potential cable users including small world virgin and you view are missing out. At least with the other guises before there was opportunity through all means to subscribe although I guess that precedent start by sky not agreeing a deal with BT for sky F1 and Ss3 & 4. I do think offcom need to get involved in this one, the ringing off this no one side can have all was meant to drive price down and make it available for all not the bleeding opposite

I totally agree with you. I work for a company which is regulated by a government agency (I won't say which) but the powers they have are rather limited. The only way they could intervene is if Virgin goes to OfCom to complain but I don't think they would because it could jeopardize any deal.
