TV XL
Just ordered TV XL to go with my phone/broadband. Is the TiVo box standard issue or is it extra? If it's not standard, what will I get instead?
Thanks.

Re: TV XL
Non-recording V HD is the 'standard' box. TiVo is £5 per month more.

Didn't know that, a non recordable box! Sounds like something outta Dickens times!

VM also supply the non recordable box to the premier and VIP packages for the additional box you only get TiVo as a second box if you pay an extra £11.50 pm

when did they scrap the V+HD box
I am using the V+HD box it seems unfair that I can record but new customers not on TiVo can't.
if I was a new customer I don't think I would bother with the tv side.

There are the same two options now as there were when you joined - a non-recording and a recording box.

Re: TV XL
In reference to post#4, it would only be an extra £5 if the requirement is for two TiVos in VIP instead of one TiVo and one V HD.

Really for the VIP pack they should supply a v+HD box as the second box lets face it people pay enough as it is for the VIP pack (£113.99 pm I think it is)

no as we took the xl tv package we got the V+ as standard.
so let me get this right if my V+ box broke down what would they replace it with.
1) a VHD non recording box
2) a V+HD if theres any left
3) a Tivo box (though I would refuse to pay extra for it)

VM clarity in Billing strikes again....
If you choose premier collection you get a TiVo and a VHD. The package already includes £6.50/month for the VHD therefore upgrading this to a TiVo costs £5 more.
I have just checked the site and the price does indeed go up £5 if you change your second box to a TiVo from a VHD
Clear as mud
