Where did the info about ESPN closing come from? We can't have Premier Sports so can't watch NASCAR live. If ESPN goes we can't watch the highlights show either

I can now reveal that when the following channels launch they will launch in the following packages - all should launch on Thursday on Virgin Media:

Channels to launch:
-MTV HD to launch on Virgin Channel 183 on the XL Package.
-BET to launch on Virgin Channel 184 on the M+, L and XL Packages.
-MTV MUSIC to launch on Virgin Channel 310 on the M+, L and XL Packages.
-Nick HD to launch on Virgin Channel 714 on the XL Package.
-The Jewellery Channel to launch on Virgin Channel 757 on the M, M+, L and XL Packages.

-No word yet on when E! HD and Universal HD will launch on Virgin Media.

No MTV CLASSIC was on the list of information I got today from my insiders.

Maybe Virgin will launch it in July.

Things are looking up on Virgin Media this year!

But with what the viewer said, rumours of new stuff coming up in the next two months, VM may dampen our spirits and launch rubbish like Information TV, JML Direct and CNC World or dreaded +1 channels!

Shall I continue with the list of useless channels that we are pleased to not have?!

Disney sold the UK network of ESPN Channels to BT.

Virgin Media deal with ESPN runs out on July 31st.

ESPN will relaunch as part of the BT Sport pack on August 1st - but Virgin have still to sign an deal to carry BT Sports Channels.

But as I says before given the channel numbers that Virgin Media have given BET and Nick HD.

I think it safe to say that all the +1 channels look unlikey to launch on Virgin Media.
