Can I pick your brains?

Looking to reduce my bill for a number of reasons ,

Currently have 60mb BB (which I'd like to keep) M tv and M phone

My current contract ends in November, I never use the landline and see it as a massive waste of money but would like to keep the TV if it were not for the difference in pricing

60Mb with M tv is only a pound cheaper than I'm paying now so my only way to save is to get rid of TV too to take it £27.50 per month

Can I make these changes without inuring any financial penalty?

Thanks in advance

Age old trick. 150, option 5 then 3. Explain what you posted here, and see what they say. Cancelling outright would bring a financial penalty, but trying to negotiate a price with them to reduce your payments won't cost anything. Bear in mind that no phone makes it more expensive, which is nutty. All I can think is taking all 3 gives a discount.

Be polite and calm and they will be more likely to help you out.

Re: Can I pick your brains?

The phone line thing does annoy me to. The whole point of cable is its cable and not a BT line yet you still have to have a VM line to get the best price. Blatant rip off imo and always has been

M Plus (which I thought was free) Kym. I want to get a motorbike again, and the saving would cover my insurance payment

Re: Can I pick your brains?

I think they do the pricing that way just to try to get an active phone line in your house, in the hope you will then use it.

Re: Can I pick your brains?

As you are still in contract, I see no reason why they should allow you to remove any service.

Don't talk to me about bikes... got mine stripped down atm.. Currently refurbing the carbs, just put new tyres on the wheels and gonna respray the frame and engine. Already refurbed the front/rear suspension, swinging arm. Just gotta make up a couple of brackets for the front callipers as the original ones are single pot (pathetic on a 115bhp bike) so got some 4 pot (2 opposing) off a TDM that'll improve the braking.

As for your saving what on the M+ package do you watch that isn't on freeview or usenet??

Nothing really, I don't watch much telly and can probably find what I do watch elsewhere.

He advised me not to, but of all the things this damn disease has taken from me my job and bikes are the things that hurt most. I'm now of the mindset that I no longer give a darn, you only live once and my RA is pretty stable atm soo..

Re: Can I pick your brains?

Just an update, phoned this morning, sat through 20 minutes of the most awful autotuned music imaginable. got disconnected, chose different option from menu, got through to Sam (somewhere in North east by the sound of her accent) saved just over £17 per month
