It's a bit of a cryptic message but I assume he means BT sports is not going in the XL package. Now my wifes in the room with me, shaking her head telling me to get away from the computer. This is getting spooky |

Confirmed: Virgin was 'moving stuff about' on Monday Night.
You may have seen the following over on DS Forum:

An Virgin Media insider has tonight reveal that Virgin was 'moving stuff about' on Monday Night.

I do not know how many did move but I can confirmed that HISTORY has now moved to an new broadcasting stream*.

*I only found that out due to having to reboot my V Box. It work fine but you need to reboot every time Virgin remove an channel.

This really annoys me about VM, they are always moving channels around, why don't they leave them alone.

Which makes me think they may start using MPEG-4 streams for TiVO users soon, especially with the news of them having a new contractor who are going to manage MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 streams at Headends.

For most people that means recordings will take up less space!

			2 new channels have launched.
Both of them BBC red button channels of which one is the HD variant. They have launched on 991 & 994(HD).

The HD channel just has a coming soon slate up whereas the SD is broadcasting some sort of wildlife programme.

 | I would hazard a guess at most likely preparation for the upcoming multi-streams for Glastonbury and Wimbledon.

 | That should mean people can record those channels.

Virgin in talks for Lovefilm and Netflix?http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-0...-nears-1-.html
"Liberty Global doesn’t see Virgin Media as a “turnaround” story and wants to “build scale” rather than change, Chief Executive Officer Mike Fries said last month. It doesn’t plan to compete over sports rights or production, and it’s in talks to add streaming services like Netflix Inc. (NFLX) and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN)’s Lovefilm to the platform, as more TV viewers sign up to the paid services, which are mostly archives of TV and film.

“The content disadvantage Virgin has is they don’t even really make a lot of money now by reselling content from others,” said Stuart Gordon, a media analyst at Berenberg Bank in London. “But they are competing very happily as being the fiber option in the U.K.”

I thought VM had more than one red button stream available to them though? I don't understand why the red button has only just been put on the EPG though considering TiVo users have had to use web streams instead for a while
