myhermes "Pick-Up Request Manifested" what does this mean? parcel not delivere

what does the above mean?
and i can't get through to myhermes either..

at a guess they have tried to deliver failed and left a note or made an arrangement for the parcel to be picked up

Ive been waiting two weeks for a parcel from them,,and the tracker has just changed to the same message,but i can guarantee i have been here all day every day waiting for this parcel to arrive as it is very important i recieve it,there is no way possible that they could have brought it here. i dont know whats going on.

I think it means that the parcel has been received your collection request and passed it to the courier to make the collection on the stated day.

Have you contacted myhermes for an explanation?

I wish people would check dates of posts before replying.

Hold on a minute Maggy. Steve obviously found this post from a search and has replied with the same problem and is asking for advice today he has done the right thing using an existing thread instead of a new one surely?

who is the parcel coming from? have you been in touch with the sender to see if they have actually had it picked up yet? Hermes for me has always picked up when they should have done and delivered within a week. Maybe the sender has not arranged for it to be picked up till now

it looks to me like the seller ( if it is one) has only just organised a pick up my original answer to this thread was wrong
