True, that'd be the only real advantage. More recording capacity.
Saying that, it'd be an advantage to the customer, it'd cost VM a fair bit, and I doubt most customers build up such a recorded backlog that it'd make that much of a difference. We're talking about maybe halving the bitrate.

Perhaps, but how much of that is stuff you'll actually get round to watching? It'd make more sense for VM to offer 2TB, 3TB or 4TB Tivos for the people who want them, for a fee.

Not only that, but she actually licks the cat itself! She says that it helps her to bond with her cat as she is doing what the cats mother would do to it as a kitten.

There were some scenes where the cat was clearly telling her to pack it in.

 | I don't wonder why they are reluctant at all, as I have said on many occasions. It annoys me that they drip feed information about launches but don't allow the details to be released until the channels are active. What's the point?

Also it's not a case of moaning about a few days delay. They had to delay the ITV HD due to technical issues, you'd have thought that with that experience they would have tested a little earlier for this launch. Oh, you know, sometime before releasing the channel details to the press.
This isn't a new channel and testing could have started sooner, TLC HD, however, is a new channel from the same broadcaster and launched on VM without any "technical problems".... kinda odd dontchya think?

 | If it was added on December 1st and removed on April 1st as your links suggest, it survived for only 4 months, not 6.

It does strike me as odd that Zee only wanted it in the higher packages when it was FTA on satellite. Although B4U Music is also FTA on satellite and restricted to the Asian package on VM, so who knows?

So if I put an email address in there the only news I would get is about BT Sports?
I will test that theory and let you know, since there seems no opt out for other marketing.

It seems Virgin are in a no win situation with some customers as they are damned if they do or damned if they don't.
