The combined companies are certainly big enough to take this direction if they wish?
Sky I believe have to produce a certain number of hours of original content to satisfy the authorities, perhaps this may applied to the new VM company. It must be hitting the critical mass to perhaps have the same rules applied or is this only relent to channel owners?

Has anyone heard anything, Mediaboy perhaps?
 | Not heard anything.

No word from insiders since last week.

 | Think this only relates to the basic PSB channels.

There's channels and then there's content on those channels.
I think if you asked most people would say they would lose all these nothing channels to have movies and sports on the iPad. Only channel I have ever watched on my iPad is ESPN.

Hopefully we will get TVA & MRS rights for Sky channels when they renew the Sky premium HD deal, then we'll have another 21 channels on mobile.
Plus once the Liberty deal goes through the CBS channels & Horror shouldn't be too far behind.

Albeit they were last week as the update has since ballsed everything up...

 | Sky Go is really poor in the Documentary genre , there's been many complaints on the Sky help forum regarding this in fact they only added a Documentary genre when they added C&I recently , I suppose Nat Geo/Wild and History are distinct possibilities on tablet/smartphone considering BSKYB has a part share in them , being honest I don't use Sky Go that much but generally when I do it's been when I'm away and I tend to mostly watch Sport live or shows/movies On Demand via my ipad , the new download facility is also useful if there's no Internet were your travelling.

Although not directly connected to TV Anywhere, and I only know about this because of the website, it looks like Virgin Movies rentals will be offering mobile device options this yearhttp://onlinemovies.virginmedia.com/Help/#pageId6011

		| How do I find out which films are available to watch on my mobile or tablet?
You’ll be able to see which devices you can watch your film on the Film page, My Basket, Checkout and My Rentals. At the moment, the films are only available on PC/Mac but we’re looking to expand onto mobiles and tablets later this year.

To check which films are available on PC/Mac, Android or iOS devices please select your film and go the film page. There, you will see icons for PC/Mac, Android or iOS, highlighting which devices you can watch your film on.
