but for what purpose though what would be the big deal covering up a creat old spitfires. Not saying wrong the whole thing seems iffy espicially the so called scan then paperwork comes up. I just think they bungled up the search and research.
They then would surely with a paper trail should come up with that they had been redeployed.
I think its like fools gold scenerio they saw things which was not there.
If it has been bungled dont think those investers will be pleased.

If you read some of the other forums (especially one where a team member of the Burma expedition was posting) it's more a case of the media and other unfounded sources blowing the story well out of proportion to what was actually going on.

That wouldn't surprise me Kymmy, in other words "don't believe the hype", I remember reading a story a few months ago about an old plane that was found partially buried somewhere remote but due to the publicity it attracted, it soon became a target for thieves and was subsequently stripped for all it's worth.
I thought it was possible that even if they had found these missing spitfires after all these years, can you imagine how much they could be worth, so it would be a good idea to throw people off the scent, for what it's worth I only tend to believe what I see with my own eyes .
