Hi my E-mail want download to my mail clint on my mac it want connect to the server what do I do should I set a mac E-mail account I have an ntlworld one dose it work with a mac

the settings you need to put in are pop3.ntlworld.com on port 995 and smtp.ntlworld.com on port 465 and tick any boxes for "this server requires a secure connection"

presumably your email client will have fields for both address and port number of the incoming and outgoing mail servers

Actually the Op might even need to also try smtp.virginmedia.com as well in order to accommodate the vagaries of VM's legacy mailbox servers!

if you have got an ntlworld email address i think you can use both servers. I can remember smtp.virginmedia.com worked for me a couple of years ago because I switched over to an @virginmedia.com email address
