Does anyone remember those wire egg-slicers? I broke my mum's trying to play it Anyhow I bought one recently and I had to try it out.

Why do I bother watching cuisine programs? I get good tips here
Thanks for that Uncle P. Unsmoked paprika is already winging it's way from Tesco to my doorstep tomorrow.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Just about to go out for a birthday meal (me, my wife, and our best friends/kids godparents) - all four of our birthdays are in November, so we try somewhere different at this time of year.
Tonight, we are visiting a Michelin star restaurant for a 7 course tasting menu, accompanied by a 5 glass wine flight to complement the courses (they say) - I will report back later....
