Well as I tested the Superhub and have still never had a single issue with it I am still inclined to say, its not bad at all.

You are a sample of one. JB says he deals with Superhub WiFi problems on a daily basis. Now who should we consider knows more about Superhub problems...

As Kwikkie says ....
In other words JB's view of the SH world is more strongly founded than yours.
The SH in router mode cannot be defended. That VM put on a modem mode is greatly to their credit and is unique, I believe, among DOCSIS gateways.

The addition of a modem mode after over a year of half baked firmware upgrades was a public admission by VM that the superhub in router mode is pants.

Re: new Hub to be released?
mmm got to say I thought the hub was ok, kinda got used to it rebooting every couple of days. Especially if more than 6 or 7 wifi devices where connected to it, but now ive moved over to sky fiber I can really notice the difference. 2 weeks without a reboot or connection issue. Its like a breath of fresh air!!!

Shame about the 100mbps ports but still I guess you can't have everything from a cheapo ISP supplied device.
At least it is stable and the wifi beats the pants off the superhub. I hear the auto channel mode actually works too.
If you don't throw large amounts data around your network then it's fine.

My guess is that they send Huwaei back to the drawing board

Im currently in a law suit with apple, they are claiming copyright infringement on my gold plated butt plugs... apparently they have a patent on overpriced crap for assholes

I rather doubt they will be given a second chance as the other one crashed and burnt.

Re: new Hub to be released?
it may have crashed and burned because vm wanted a replica of the sh but huwaei knew the antenne were too small and stupid

At least they are not going down that route but doubtful it will be a standalone mainstream modem as it should have been all along.

So you're saying the device on test is a netgear device?

Re: new Hub to be released?
The SH only has 100Mb ports? That's a bit daft if they're providing 120Mb broadband!
Are all the ports 100? Including the first one when used in Modem Only mode?
