Downstreams are maybe a bit high though if it works OK, personally, I wouldn't worry.

Downstream power is fine. Between -3 and +7 = optimal.
The SNR on the other hand for the downstream is okish, but over 40 is better.

Re: Moved House, Internet Installed Today, Power Levels Ok?
Those levels are absolutely perfect. The downstream isn't "a bit high" at all and the SNR is perfectly OK.
On that modem you can judge signal quality by the uncorrectables. The ones shown are thos that occur on a reboot when the system is unstable for a few moments. If they're not risinfg, your SNR is fine. In any case anything over 34.5 dB is OK with thaat modem. What your modem is not good at is handling downstream power > 7dBmv, but you don't have that challenge.
What was worrying you? Anything?

I'm not sure what it does but last time I had a little connector that said "10dB" for the modem and this time the engineer put on a "6dB" one.
Not sure what they do though >.<

They attenuate the downstream only and not the upstream (save for c. ½ dB because it's there). They have a frequency filter and knock the downstraem power down.

Don't suppose anyone else noticed installer installed a VMNG300?
