V+ : V+ HD box playing up?

Out of nowhere the past week or so the V+ HD box we have has been nothing but a pain.

It starts out with minor things, if you press the rewind button the box pops up but no rewind takes place. Instead the box stays on the screen and won't go off, even if you change channels to try and rectify this. (By box, i mean the rewind timer and program list box)

Sometimes when changing channels, the screen will go black. You can still go through the program list, but no matter what channel you choose the screen will stay black permanently.

Last night i was going through the menu on the program list, when all of a sudden i as unable to use the down arrow to go through the list. It wasn't locked up though, i could work around it by using the arrow keys to shuffle along the future programs - THEN i could temporarily use the down arrow. Before it did it again.

All these issues are resolved by turning the V+ box off at the wall and waiting a few seconds, normally does the trick. But once today this even locked up, on the status PL30 i think it was, waiting 5 minutes for it to load but no-go so i had to reset it again.

Certainly seems like it's developed a fault potentially and it feels like it's getting worse.
