Re: Reminders are here!
So let me get this right. If I want to set a reminder for the football I have to drink my milk now and then then remove the empty bottle from the fridge tomorrow?

Re: Reminders are here!
Is there any improvement in channel changing and to the whole system in 15.3 update? Does anybody know?
It would be nice if somebody posted a video of 15.3 pilot update on Youtube so we can see for our selves.

No, if you don't want to drink the milk, it doesn't take up any space in your fridge, but if you change your mind, the milk will be there for you.....

Well you can always empty it down the sink if you don't want it
Actually I can sort of see why some may dislike this feature - those full fat recordings take up so much more space than the semi-skimmed ones

Re: Reminders are here!
Actually the big question is, do recordings made by a reminder get preferentially deleted as suggestions do when space is needed?
I suspect not

Re: Reminders are here!
Well they'll be amongst the last things recorded-doesn't that mean they're amongst the lowest priority shows?

My reading is that recordings with a reminder have the same priority as any other user-set recording.

Re: Reminders are here!
It's a rather odd implementation of the reminder function, but it's better than nothing I suppose and probably the only way it could be done.
I'm glad that *something* was offered in the face of constant criticism of the feature from some rather pompous individuals who seem to think that their viewing habits should be copied by everyone

Re: Reminders are here!
Given that TiVo does not have a dedicated Live TV tuner (cf V+ which does) then the implementation has to fit in with the normal TiVo tuner scheduling method.
