It is , a lot sharper and easier on the eye , there's a few subtle changes without feeling alien to you. We had version 49.20 downloaded last night , this must be the release candidate as some are reporting they received the new guide last night and were not on the beta trial.

not long for people now then. had 49.20 update last night. Hope the guide comes to multiroom boxes soon as well

Beta testers will get 49.21 during the early hours of Thursday , the new EPG is due to start large scale roll out possibly taking 1-3 months.

I'm sure you alreay know as it is from the same thread you linked to earlier today, the Sky employee confirmed that 1m users got the EPG upgrade on 12 June. I'm guessing this is in the Reading area as thats the postcode he gave for the first batch of upgrades.
He said no confirmed dates for the next batch so I guess my hopes that I would be next as I'm down the road from Reading were perhaps optimistic

I needs to be ethier on or in standby when it comes to your box so it can recieve the update
