Well that just proves that you don't know it all as you seem to think you do.
Do a bit of research and you might learn something

You are extremely rude and arrogant. Just because you are a student who may know about the technical side, it doesn't mean that you know about the whole industry.
So as I said, do some research, and then eat some humble pie

Going on VM's track record I cant see them leaving things as they are and only improving the network (e.g to relieve congestion). They will want to have something to show for it so although they might invest in the hardware to deliver faster speeds we will still be left with an over congested network which cant handle everyone on the new tiers. If they wanted to show off and have a network to proud of they would upgrade the network to the extent that they dont need stm anymore; proving that they can handle all these super fast speeds they like to float

I'm not a student.
I don't know about the technical side.
Doesn't take a genius to tell everything that comes out of your mouth is bull excreta.

What? I presume you mean what's happening on the business tariffs... doesn't apply to residential.

If people cannot or will not be civil to each other, infractions will be dished out freely. I don't care who started it, I will finish it.

o_0 what are they sending out instead?
They're still selling 50mb on their website, and since my area's not ready for 60 or 100 (hell it can barely handle 50 as it is) I don't see what else people would be getting put on?

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Virgin Media Business have temporarily stopped selling the 30 Mb/s and 50 Mb/s business services and have reinstated the 10 & 20 Mb/s services. This is due to problems with the Business Superhub firmware, which is differen to that used for residential customers.
Once Netgear have resolved the problems I gather the 30 & 50 Mb/s business services will go back on sale.

Like I said, my area can barely handle 50 down 1.75 up, I don't see them giving all new 50mb customers 100/5 especially when they explicitly don't sell 100/anything here.
Even the 60/3 interim package is nearly double the upstream we have now. I just don't see it happening...

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
if they havent even got round to the 10:1 upgrades yet I cant wait to see what they do when they launch 100mbit. I would love to see a 100/1.75 config
