it doesnt make sense because as far as i can see/read.. theres no future fee agreed for a full transfer.

I don't buy that at all. It seems like an attempt to rewrite the narrative in order to increase the sense of disorder at the club. Arshavin who has been poor for over a season and a half had suddenly turned a corner just before a loan move out and Wenger, who had been giving him a lot of chances, made that loan move just on the verge of him becoming good again? Nah.
There exists now a small body of Arsenal fans with ill-intent spinning stories to put more pressure on Wenger and increase the sense of crisis. I do not believe, for example, that the Arsenal Supporters Trust 'forgot' that stadium repayments do not count towards FFP when they had the alarmest report that missing CL football would cause us to fall foul of FFP. That caused a week of stories about Arsenal being in dire straits.
Now, Arshavin who was roundly booed coming on against Manchester United, was booed when his name was read out against Villa and has been the subject of abuse from Arsenal fans all season was suddenly 'doing wonders' and nobody understands why Wenger let him go? LOL.

It maybe but Arsenal fans were screaming for Arshavin's head. They made it quite clear they wanted him gone and they made sure he knew it whenever he stepped onto the pitch. They can't very well claim to be disappointed that he left all of a sudden.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
The question now that needs to be answered is can RVP be kept at the club as its seems more and more clubs are chasing his services and he has still not put pen to paper on a new contract.

Well this afternoon is certainly a watershed moment for Arsenal's season and lose today and the pressure on the board to do something will increase considerably.

I think it doesn't matter too much. Everyone expects Arsenal to lose. It won't help matters but it won't be the watershed moment anymore than any other of the previous games were.

Yes a terrible start and again the defending was absolutely woeful.

It is not the first time Bale has dived and he is getting quite a reputation for doing this.
