Re: Dire picture quality
Channels like the 'Horror' channel have some of the worst problems, I tried to watch Hellraiser the other day and the pixellation/blocking was appalling.

You have a fault then. You need to call Support.

Re: Dire picture quality
I did call, a few weeks ago. They said there was a problem with the F connector, remade the joint and then left. Picture still the same and the odd message that 'there is a problem with this channel'. I would call again but realistically, what are they going to do?

They need to fix the fault. Call them out again.

Re: Dire picture quality
I find it a bit odd that primary channels such as Channel 5 have extremely poor picture quality, yet the picture quality on a home shopping channel such as QVC is excellent.

Re: Dire picture quality
Pixelation is the first thing my mum said to me about our VM setup when we moved from Sky. She doesn't care about HD/SD or quality at all but since moving back to Sky she's been happy with the picture.
VM need to really sort that out.

Re: Dire picture quality
If the pic quality is anything less than good even on SD, you have a fault. Call them and get it looked at.

Re: Dire picture quality
I watched SVU on Demand Five the other day and the picture quality was much better than live Channel 5. In fact, it was better picture quality than BBC iPlayer on the same box.
