Dunno. What modem you got now? If it's not the Super Hub, they'll send you one or the engineer will bring it. Eventually you'll have to use the SH they send you because they'll block the VMNG300s. A little way off yet but not too long.

i was too, you can keep your VMNG300 if you ask and unless someone knows for defo, I can't see them sending an engineer round to everyone's house who is being upgraded so hopefully they'll just send you a shub through the post which you can ignore and they'll wang the new config file down to your modem.

i think there pushing the superhub for the upgrades and will force it by removing the mac of the vmng300 and adding the superhub meaning oyu have to regsiter it

bummer. Well hopefully there will be a silver lining to it all. If they are going to double or triple the current number of customers using shubs hopefully they'll see a massive increase in the number of issues and complaints and finally get rid of it.

Very unlikely. That would amount to forcefully disconnecting your service.

No that will not happen otherwise the would be no older modems on the network and the are still many of those, no idea why you would think that for one moment.

until you phone up and they then get oyu to activate the uperhub, as if they do it they will most likely send it by recorded delivery

Knowing how good India are, half the calls would end up with them sending out an engineer instead of an over the phone activation.

I don't understand why they cant send everyone a new shub and get the cisco hardware to learn the new mac address and run some sort of script to add it to the customers account info. It would save an awful lot of faffing about and man hours.

That would amount to forcefully disconnecting my service if a customer isn't in to receive an unexpected shipment, or don't use their phone line?

Even less likely.
