As I thought then, I guess anyone getting the original double tickle page must have it cached.

You can that here www.virginmedia.com/fasteruploads

Given that 120Mbit isn't coming for a while it should be quite realistic for VM to consider a better than 10:1 ratio on this new top tier tariff for when it is available.
|
It's not going to happen

Here we go again
May i suggest you all wait till the real dates are released not some dates from a person who is known to stretch the truth.

I did specifically say that Channel bonding would cover it. And a single upstream is what's currently used, so yes it does cover it, "torrent-monkies" aside.

Cheers for that, I can get a couple of people off my back now lol.
I'm already on 100mb so an extra 20mb isn't going to be earth shattering for me but the reduction in price will be welcome as will the extra 2mb upload.

|
Virgin have no competition for upload speed faster than 10mb atm, once BT increase their THEN maybe virgin might think about increasing for tiers of similar prices to bt infinity, no chance of them increasing before BT.
Only a very small number of torrenters and also businesses would need 20mb upload, can't see many people going with bt just because of that. Broadband companies don't do any marketing about upload speeds either although BT may talk about "faster uploading of photos" and stuff in their adverts once they are on 20mb. I would do that if i worked in their marketing dept.
All i want from VM is for the speed drops to be increased on 20mb and download limit before speed drop increasing and i'll be a happy vm broadband customer. Adding 802.11ac to their superhubs would be nice too but i wouldn't expect that in 2012 as a lot of testing would likely need to happen before vm rolled that out.
