Re: Football Season 2011/12
Then when a new manager comes in and things start to go badly it becomes the players' fault for not trying hard enough. Who'd be a manager eh.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has defended his players after they were criticised for their public backing of Luis Suarez.

But Dalglish insisted: "I don't think the players have caused any trouble."

Quote:
Liverpool insist their player is not a racist and have repeatedly declared their support for the 24-year-old.
|
Quote:
"We have lived, trained and played with Luis for almost 12 months and we don't recognise the way he has been portrayed."

Former Manchester United and Aston Villa centre-half Paul McGrath described the move as "shameful" and said he would not have worn such a T-shirt.

They are still awaiting the full written verdict of the independent commission which heard Suarez's case but are not expected to receive it until after Christmas.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Really wish we had someone to partner with Demba Ba, Leon Best simply does not cut it and Shola Ameobi's performances are beyond a joke now. His workrate is laughable and he has no skill or pace whatsoever. Waste of money per week on his wages.
Still paper talk of Lampard going to Real Madrid.
Very doubtful, He seems the type of player that will finish his career at Chelsea.

if he signs a few extra heads theres no problem but he doesn't putting all the funds back into the club. all is good and pathetic to argue with whats going on in the real world but such is 'football' he does need to add a few heads to stop any neglect or complacency occurring.
what he's doing is impressive yet underachieving.. can't have it all i guess

Remember that Wenger has not got Man City type funds at his disposal so he has to be clever when he is looking for players in the transfer market because as we all know many players carry a vastly inflated transfer values and Wenger has never been one to pay over the odds.
