Anyone had this happen to their V+Box?

Yesterday I set a programme to record called Real Crime with Mark Austin (Just an Example) which is due to be shown on Monday the 28/11/11 at 22:35 on ITV1. Now today as I was flicking through the Planned Programmes pages to check everything was in order etc I noticed right at the very top of the 1st page it stated...

Programme = Recovered Content
Channel = Unknown
Date = 13/11
Time = 21:55
Duration = 747hrs+18mins

Never had it happen before and I do have the opportunity to delete it but if I do I'm a bit worried it might cause something to happen to my Planned Recordings but mainly to all the programmes I already have recorded..

As I said in the title has anyone ever experienced anything like this with their V+Box (Samsung BTW) and how to go about resolving it. Also does anyone know what actually causes it to happen?

Regards.

Many thanks mlayzell for your quick reply/response to my query and in giving me the link to spiderplants explanation to what could be causing the problem.(Thanks also spiderplant)...

There was something else I forgot to mention earlier in my post regarding a similar matter..

That was when I went on to the Recordings by Date page I got the same sort of info I mentioned earlier...

Now on pressing the info button for the unknown Recorded Content that was apparently recorded on the 13/11 for 0hr45 I got a message saying - Sorry! but the show you've recorded is not part of your TV package. Why the hell would I try to record a programme/show I know I'm not entitled/subscribed to?

I've managed to delete the above 45mins programme I've supposed to have recorded but It won't seem to let me get rid of the main 700 and odd hours for some reason.

I'm thinking a reboot might help but that'll have to wait while tomorrow because something's being recorded at the moment.

Many thanks again and I'll definitely let you know when everything's hopefully back to normal

Regards

Every thing is back to how it should be now after getting rid of all those extra hours I mentioned since giving the STB a reboot. Must say though was a bit worried when turning the STB back on in regards to losing any recorded content etc which unfortunately I didn't.

Thanks again mlayzell for your help in putting me in touch with spiderplants link.

Cheers...

Hang on... so you were disappointed when you switched the box back on and found everything intact? "Oh no, I was expecting TiVo to wipe everything on the harddrive, I'm so upset!"

What I said was after being advised to reboot my STB (Samsung V+) to clear the 747hrs recovered content that appeared one day I was a bit worried that on doing so I may lose some or all of the programmes I'd recorded. But after the reboot the 747hrs of recovered content had gone but I hadn't lost any of the recorded programmes I was worried about in the first place.

My initial post is self explanatory plus also the word TiVo isn't mentioned
