Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
This probably me being stupid, but I can't figure it out.
I go to 'Explore this show', select 'Bonus features', then the Youtube search, which brings up the new YT interface with related videos
But how do I get back to the 'explore this show' page that I came from?
The only way I can get out of youtube gets me to live TV
It worked fine with the old youtube interface.

Tried the left arrow, but not clear; I'll try that.

Yeah tried that mate,it says all other formats are unsupported. I'll have to persude the Mrs that we ought to have a bigger screen TV for Christmas.

YouTube working for me now - like the fact you can watch YouTube movies in HD - they look great on a large(ish) TV. Just wish there was a way to go into browse mode from the YouTube start screen. It looks like you have to do a search first, before you can browse.

Very odd,I now have the original You Tube UI. Has it been rollled back to the 15.1 version?. I tried playing a video I posted in 1080p and it is not in HD now.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
If anyone is interested I have created a simple TiVo net remote for Windows 7 which works with the VM TiVo (except for the coloured buttons as I cannot find the code for those yet).
Feel free to give it a try, have not managed to test it on anything other than my laptop, so let me know how you get on.
Basically a picture of a Vm Tivo remote which you can click on the buttons to send to Tivo.
You can also type on the keyboard to send text to search boxes such as when searching all tv. Typing numbers sends the Number to the TiVo.
Software here http://www.andypwheeler.pwp.blueyond...emoteV0.01.zip
Let me know how you get on. Plenty of improvements can be made after reading up on what can be sent.
You will need to have your TiVo connected to your home network, and have Network Remote Control enabled on your Tivo.

When installing the TiVo commander app on my 1TB TiVo,, the app comes up with a ! and states @this app only works with a tivo premiere device, not series 2, series 3 or HD@ and does not connect. it finds the tivo, but just wont connect, i have put MAK in, and also the IP, it just hangs there!? any ideas?

Have you enabled Settings -> Network Remote Control on the TiVo?

I had this.
Turned things off and on in the network menus - rebooted the router - and it then worked.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
So now the update is almost rolled out, they said there were going to be subsequent updates released in quick succession. What features will those updates bring ( apart from red button! ) ?

Or just correctly prioritise your series links. Remember that a high priority will clip padding off a lower priority.
IMO it's better to have the padding and use the clipping/priority, than not have it and miss the end of a show.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
My friend wants to replace his normal V+ box with a tivo and the question is how much would this cost for him.

£49.95 install, and £3 a month if on XL or £2 a month less if on M+ or L, and either
£0 activation for the 500GB box or
£49.95 activation for the 1TB
