You can register up to 4 compatible computers to the Player service as far as I can see. It's more about whether it's up to the job of playback more than whether its a PC, Laptop or Notebook

However Sky Sports / Movies can only be watched on one of them at any one time - this is the 'Primary' device

Nice to see PBS bringing some content with them instead of just being a repeats channel. Now if only I could see those repeats on Universal in HD...

You're best to move to SKY then as you'll be waiting a long time for all of those coming to Virgin. Are you currently in a 12 month contract with Virgin for your TV package?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.

PBS UK will launch with a British TV premiere of Prohibition, the Ken Burns-directed three-part documentary series about the prohibition era in America. It will also air shows such as NOVA, American Experience, Frontline and PBS Newshour.

The channel will be available on Virgin Media channel 243 and the cable operator has also secured the rights to offer PBS content on its video on-demand service, including the Virgin Media Player.

On-demand content will include music series The Blues, executive produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by the likes of Clint Eastwood, Mike Figgis and Wim Wenders, along with the British TV Premiere of Special When Lit, a documentary about the pinball machine.

Sorry, lazy question from me and I could have found the answer myself with the same amount of effort, so the worst kind of laziness-but thank you for the answer. I am keen to see the prohibition documentary, like the look of this channel.

Dont apologise, It was not a direct answer to you. I was posting it mostly because I have not seen it mentioned that PBS will be on On Demand.
