bet you i did because that would be illegal ,it just looks even more pathetic and reinforces the question of why have a Black association in the first place ,it can act for blacks and whites equally the same as the Police Association .One wonders what would happen if it was decided to take it away

From your answers I'm guessing you have no idea what it is set up for. Is it just a 'club' for black police to belong to? No, it is "Aiming to improve the working environment for police personnel of African, African-Caribbean or Asian origin working in London."

Whites may join because believe it or not, some whites find that a positive cause to contribute to.

You're saying that the black police association is for blacks who feel that they may be victimised because they're black. it's there because white police don't like blacks?

it doesn't help. it's like saying come join the police, don't be scared we have set up a victim support group for blacks.

We don't need black and white clubs. we got past that kind of thing since we became more civilised. we have laws now instead

Bigot: a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race..

I don't like being a bigot. it means all my opinions are invalid, and the other persons opinions automatically over-rule

But I will put my ballot paper in to say that seperating black and white with blacks only clubs, associations, and albums, is a bad thing for race relations.

I won't let someone PC stop me by throwing mud at me up the pathway to the polling station either

At the time of that article her job was to find racism and if you look hard enough you will find what you are looking for

but the Met are not as bad as all that ,it's all the others

It's for the whole country not just London and note the bit about improving the work enviroment for black people ,why not all people ?

Correction: from your link...

It is made up of local associations and some allow full white membership.

If you feel that strongly about it then why not find out which associations don't and ask them why, rather than forming your opinion on partial facts.
