DNS issues

Has anyone else around the South West London TW area had DNS issues? I was experiencing intermittent browsing issues that were reflected by things being pingable but nslookup timing out. Switched over to google public DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) and the problem seemed to clear up. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue.

Re: DNS issues

it wouldnt surprise me dude, peeps are always complaining about the VM dns servers being flakey. My advice would be to stick with the google ones from now if you can create static entries in your router and then you won't have to worry about it bothering you again
