.....so, that's corporate speak meaning no. If it did launch, one can only wonder what the "activation" fee would be.!

It was in the news a few years ago that Sky was launching a 8 tuner pvr, I wonder if that will ever see the light of day.

Is there any HD channels coming to virgin media soon.

Thanks you for your mail which Neil has asked me to answer on his behalf.
Your email comes at a great time as Virgin Media has just completed agreements to launch the new HD channels from UKTV . I'm really pleased to say that we'll be adding them to our HD channel line-up as soon as we possibly can. - We're still in discussion with UKTV about the precise technical details re timing, but our aspiration is to launch at the same time as Sky or as soon as possible after.

Sky have got the ball rolling with the price freeze virgin media have no choice but to either hold their prices or lower them, it's all about competition.
