Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Slightly off the App topic but TiVo's EPG is so unreliable that it's becoming unusable.
Is it just my TiVo, the guide shows that ITV 1HD (113) is off air Wednesday 24/08 @19:30 and I had to use the iphone App to set a recording of the Arsenal champions league qualifier. My TiVo shows that I have set a recording for "Channel Off Air" yet Can I trust it?
(totally agree with neilo about the App's missing channels making it an almost good App though!)

Why isn't Sky Sports? It would be an absolutely genius App if it was. Now I'm afraid, it falls short of the mark for me. Being an avid Sky Sports football viewer. So are the Sky Sports channels coming soon to the App then?

Yup, it sucks and so does the app. Constantly stopping and starting the scrolling cause it decides to open the wrong channel. It is clunky and ultimately useless.

But why no Sky Sports on it? Anyone from VM Know why this is? It does seem pretty crazy. But I know there is always a reason for these things, just wondering what it might be.

Probably Sky being petty and not letting them include the sports and movie channels in the app. Just like they won't let their channels be shown in the mini screen at the top right when you are viewing the menus.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I hope when it does it kills the delay and sound cut out which is presumably the box checking if its a channel that can't be shown in the window.

I now use the TV Guide.co.uk app on android and it now features TiVo remote record and Sports and Movies, also it works really well. The VM one always freezes for me.

Can you remote record sky sports and movies with this app Stephen, as when I tried record option was only for sky. Tivo record was available, and worked, for other channels. I could have set things up wrong.

Is there any plan to include VM on the iPhone version of this app?
